German photographer Gerhard Riebicke was mainly active during the 1920s
through the 1930s. He is considered the father of the Naturist Movement in
photography and inspired many artists. Gerhard Ribicke's photographs were
full of movement, whimsical and sometimes radiated grace and power.
Gerhard published at least two books: "Das Sportfoto. Der Fotorat, 29. Band"
in 1936 and "Arbeitsmdchen Singen und Tanzen" in 1944. "Arbeitsmdchen
Singen und Tanzen" translates to "Working Girls Singing and Dancing".
Although I have not reviewed these books, the titles reflect Riebickie's
general attitude regarding photography.
